My Expertise
With 28 years’ experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I bring extensive expertise in supporting children and young people with diverse needs. For 22 years I have served as a Secondary School SENCO, alongside 10 years as both a Designated Safeguarding Lead and CLA Designated Teacher. My specialist knowledge includes ASC, ADHD and selective mutism, with a proven ability to de-escalate challenging behaviour. A proven record working with adverse childhood trauma. I have led whole-school training on SEND and behaviour, supporting staff development and inclusive practice. In addition, I provide SEND consultancy to schools, helping them to strengthen provision and achieve positive outcomes. Produce individual, user-friendly support plans for students.
